commands
What each command does
Add --json anywhere when a program needs to parse the output.
| command | what it does |
|---|---|
store | Save a fact. An exact copy is ignored. A near copy is reported. |
retrieve | Search by meaning. Filter with --task when you have one. |
list / get | Look up by task, keyword (--search), or one key. |
archive / restore | Take a fact down, or put it back. Restore retires the version that replaced it. |
purge | Delete a fact for good. You must pass --force. |
gc | Show what cleanup would remove. --apply does the removal. |
ingest | Read a docs directory and store one memory per section. |
export / import | Write or read a pack of memories. Import adds missing keys. It does not fight over the same key. |
serve / push / pull | Sync over HTTP with a bearer token. This stays a terminal command. |
backup status | Show the last successful backup for each configured destination. |
backup replicate | Run continuous SQLite backup replication to configured local folders or S3-compatible buckets. |
restore --from <target> [--at <timestamp>] | Restore a SQLite vault from a backup. --at selects the latest retained update at or before a timezone-aware timestamp. |
embedd | Run one shared embedding process for this machine. This is not the sync server. |
galaxy | Open a local page that draws the vault. Default port 8780. |
init / bootstrap | Create the vault, then wire the project files. |
whoami / doctor / log | Show identity, check the vault, or read the audit log. |
For destination setup and restore requirements, see the SQLite backup and restore guide.
