How cairn works
Cairn is a memory vault on your computer. Agents search it before they write a new answer. There is no account and no cloud.
The program is three commands: cairn, cairn-mcp, and cairn-embedd. There is no graphical app.
- Install the commands on this machine.
- Ingest turns a folder of documents into searchable sections.
- Memory explains save, search, and replace.
- Commands lists what each verb does.
- Agents wires the editor tools.
- Share moves a pack of memories to another checkout.
